We took Lydia’s training wheels off earlier this summer because she was starting to be able to balance without the training wheels touching the ground. She did not think she was ready to learn, so we put the training wheels back on reluctantly. We knew that this was a battle we didn’t need to conquer, yet.
Fast forward two months. Lydia is now showing off how good she can ride her bike without the training wheels touching. So, we decided it was time to try again. We did have to talk her into it a little, but she was riding like a speed racer in no time. It is amazing how much faster she goes on a bike ride without those extra wheels and with a boost of confidence.
Way to go Lydia!
