I have had a turkey sitting in my freezer for almost a year. I have never cooked a turkey. They intimidate me. It’s a big bird. I don’t own a roaster pan and really didn’t want to buy one to take up space and be used once or twice a year. After my husband saying he would cook it, I knew I had to step up to plate.So, I took the first step and took it out of the freezer and put it in the fridge. Then I forgot about it. Late in the night before the day I was to cook it, I realized I had no roaster pan, and no idea how I was to cook the bird. So, I went to sleep and decided to take care of it in the morning.

After posting my status on Facebook. My friends and family came to the rescue- they said it was easy and they said I could use a regular pan!
All this to say, it IS EASY to make a turkey and I wish I would have done it sooner. I even stuffed it which was another daunting task. Just follow the directions on the wrapping and let it cook in the oven. Then ask your husband to carve it.
Needless to say I am stocking up on turkey while the prices are good. So if anyone has any good turkey recipes email me.
