I knew I would want some strawberry shortcake, once I could stand the sight of strawberries again. So, I sugared a big bowl full, and after they had plenty of syrup oozing around them, I put them in some freezer bags for later.
I also tried a muffin recipe, which 3 out 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed.
I hulled and washed MORE… and decided to just flash freeze a bunch and bag them up for a later recipe. (I’d love to hear any you have.)
I’m really looking forward to have a fresh strawberry supply through the winter.
