Merry Christmas

“…and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”  (John 1:14b ESV)

God sent his son, Jesus to take away the sins of the world.  As our sins have been paid for by his blood and we pray that that same grace would be lavished up you; that God would make himself irresistibly beautiful to you this Christmas season, and that he would draw you closer to himself than ever before.

We were quite blessed this past summer and took our first family vacation together.  We  road tripped and camped all over South Dakota, visiting the beautiful Badlands, as well as Mt. Rushmore, Wall Drug, Jewel Cave, and Edwards Air Force Base.

We are now well into our second year of homeschooling, and it is going very well.  Joel is learning to read, and Lydia and Abigail are absorbing everything.  Paula has chosen a long term curriculum and starting with the creation of the world, working through a comprehensive look at the history of the world.  The kids are learning a great deal and are excited to share it with whomever will listen.

My schooling is continuing and as of this writing, I have one more class to complete and I will have met the requirements for graduation from Crown College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Ministry.  As we continue down the road toward full time pastoral ministry, please pray with us for direction as we wait patiently on God to show us his will.

We pray that God will show you his boundless love this Christmas season, and that he would give you the opportunity to share that love with others, for your joy and his glory.

Jonathan, on behalf of the family.
