Yesterday, we got to go to Nickelodeon Universe for free! For those of you who don’t know what Nickelodeon Universe is-it is an amusement park inside the Mall of America.

Yesterday they were shooting a commercial there, and since they wanted a lot of people there, all the rides were free from 12-4. Jonathan was able to get the day off, since his normal day off this week was a holiday. We had a nice lunch together at Tony Romas, then surprised the kids by going on the rides.  Needless to say they were excited!

Our first stop was the swings. Which was a good ride to start with. Although, Jonathan and I were both a little dizzy after riding in the backward facing seats.

The longest wait was for the bumper cars, but the kids really wanted to go on them.  Abby had to go by herself, and after half the ride was over, she figured out she had a foot pedal to push.

After going upside down, side to side, and round and round many times, it was 4 o’clock and time to head home.

It was a lot of fun, and we enjoyed every free minute of it.
