I’ve been trying to prepare for our next school year. I will have a 1st, 2nd and 4th grader. I have all the curriculum in hand, now I just need to put it in order. I am currently trying to schedule the first 10 weeks of school. Here is the curriculum we will be working on through this year.
Phonics, Language, Spelling: Abeka
Reading: I’ll start Joel off with some Abeka readers until he get’s confident in all his phonics sounds. Abigail and Lydia will pick a book and read me a chapter a day.
Math: Singapore Math
Handwriting: A Reason for Handwriting
Science: Apologia Exploring Creation With Botany
History, Geography, Art, Literature, Reading, Writing: Tapestry of Grace Year 2
Bible: God’s Names, Fighter Verses, Hymns for a Kid’s Heart Abby will be doing her own study of John 11-16 with a Kay Arthur devotional.
Typing: Mavis Beacon Keyboarding Kidz
