When we first saw the amount of our debt, we didn’t know how we would be able to pay even our minimum payment. Even after making some changes at home, our budget was still pretty tight.

Thanks be to God, Jonathan has been able to pick up a few extra jobs on the side. It does put a little more stress on the family, because he is already very busy with the one job. We know that this busyness is temporary, and with as much we’ve been able to pay off with the extra money, that decreases some other stress. So I guess we’re about evened out.

There are all kinds of ways to make extra income: Part time job, Garage Sale, selling stuff…

Be creative. Make sure all the extra money goes to debt and not the new thing you’ve been pining for.
