Yesterday, I talked about how to make stock, so today I’m going to tell you one thing you can do with it.
One of the best things to make with stock, of course, is soup. Soup is great for this time of year on those really cold days or when you’re feeling under the weather.
Here’s what you need:
- Noodles (My favorite are the kind you find in the freezer section. They are very thick and hearty.)
- Stock
- Carrots cut up
- Celery cut up
- Thyme
- Parsley
- Salt
- Pepper
- Turkey
I didn’t list amounts because I really don’t measure. Just make sure you have plenty of stock for the noodles to soak up, plus extra. Season to your own taste.
This recipe also freezes well. You can make a big batch and have some extra meals for a later date. If you do freeze it you will probably need to add more stock to it when you heat it up again.
