Jonathan and I have been slacking off on our dates with our kids. We are supposed to have one each month and we have totally missed the last two months. So, on Sunday afternoon we decided to get everybody caught up and go on a family date. We went to the movie theater and watched Hugo, based on the book The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick.

It was a great movie. We all enjoyed it. The book is better, of course. You should read it first or at least look through the AMAZING illustrations.
