Books of 2011

Starting out this year I knew I needed a reading goal. I saw people trying to read 52 books a year. I thought about it, then I remembered I’m an average housewife and mom. I decided to go for 12. I’ve always been good at starting books, but not so much on the finishing.

Here are the books that I finished.

My two favorites were  The Help and
One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are.

What have you read this year? Any that I should add to my list for next year?

  1. Paula,
I’m in the middle of ONE THOUSAND GIFTS right now, and what a lovely book! I love the author’s turn of phrase, how she draws even the smallest detail into brilliant focus, and how she glorifies God regardless of her circumstances. A great read! 🙂
