Time to Reset

Acknowledged Reset

As I look at my life I feel a little discouraged, I feel like I am just coasting along. I set a few goals at the beginning of this year, and I accomplished a couple of them. Which is great, but they weren’t really that meaningful.

This weekend starts a new year and it’s a perfect time to push the reset button.

This year I want to dig into all the different areas of my life and really think about how I’m doing and how I can do it better.

So, it’s time to assess, to plan, and make goals. I am not good at sorting through all these areas or keeping myself accountable. I have found a few resources that will help me do that.

  • Michael Hyatt’s free e-book Creating Your Personal Life Plan: This is my in depth goal planning resource. I will be looking at each area of my life, looking at where I’m at, and where I want to be.
  • Hello Mornings: This is a daily online accountability group that I have joined. I will be working on getting up before my family for the purpose of communing with God, exercising, and planning the day. (Registration ends January 2nd)
  • 3 in 30: This is a monthly accountability blog link-up I will be doing. It will make my goals more attainable as I tackle a few at a time.

As I’m planning I ultimately want to bring it all before God. I can do nothing without Him. It is for Him that I should do everything.

So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.     – I Corinthians 10:31
