This is my first time doing 3 in 30 and I’m really excited about it. It seems like it will be a great way to help me accomplish my goals month to month. I will be listing 3 goals I want to complete this month. At the end of the month I’ll let you know how I did. So here goes…
- Budget my time. As I was assessing my life, I was aware of my time management issues. I really want to change this and be proactive with my time. I have written a rough draft time log for how I want my time spent. I will make changes as needed, but I want to stick to a schedule and use a timer. I especially need the timer for computer time and housekeeping.
- Wake up early. I LOVE to sleep. Before I had kids I would sleep until 10 on my day off. I also enjoy staying up late and am not a morning person. Needless to say, getting up early is not easy for me, but it’s good. I feel so much better when I am up and going before everyone else is awake. My plan is to wake up at 5:30 every morning.
- Thank you cards. Christmas is over and we were blessed to receive many gifts. I am terrible at sending out thank you cards, but my goal is to get mine and my kid’s (who are motivated by me) cards out by the end of this month.
Great first goals! I love 3in30, and am sure you will too. It’s a really encouraging, motivating community and three goals makes you narrow your focus, whilst still making huge achievements.

My wake up time is 5:30 a.m. I do have a bad habit of staying in bed until hubby leaves right before 6 a.m. Just think of the things I could accomplish, if I were to get out of bed WHEN the alarm goes off.
Looking forward to your accomplishments made via 3in30!

Yes, getting out of bed is the hard part. It’s a battle I’m fighting and continually have to remind myself why I’m getting up early.

I’m with you on goal 1 and 2 although those aren’t my written down goals for the month, but going to try the getting up earlier to greet the morning with the Hello Mornings Challenge.
On the last one, now there’s something I suck at! We’ve been married 8 years and I still haven’t written thank you notes… guess it’s too late now!
Good luck with your goals!

I just sent a thank you card that was 6 months late, but 8 years might be overdoing it;)

Welcome to the Challenge! You’ve picked some great goals for this month. A few months ago I had a “wake up early” goal and it became such a habit that I can do it much easier now! I look forward to hearing how these go for you!

That’s a great set of goals to start off the year with! I need to work on the first one as well. I seem to proscrastinate as well with things I don’t want to (but need to) do. Good luck on your goals this month!

So glad you stopped by my blog this week and just wanted to say: YOU CAN DO IT! Even with my husband home I have managed to get up early and get my devotion time in first thing. It makes such a difference!
