This weekend I finished my 9 week C25k training. I am now able to jog for a full 30 minutes! It actually took me a few extra weeks, with hot weather, sickness, etc., but I did it!
I finished, but I’m not done. I can’t just stop now that I’ve completed the training. I need to keep going, keep pushing myself. My plan for right now is just to keep up three 30 min. runs a week and maybe after a month of that I’ll adjust the time.
My #15×15 Goals
Drinking 80 oz. water: I had a couple of days where I was real close but I never made it to 80 oz. this week:( This week my plan is to decrease my coffee. I’m not sure if I’ll totally get rid of coffee, but I definitely need more water.
Exercise 5 days and 2 hours of walking: This week I finished three 30 minute runs, two workouts with Jillian, and about 30 minutes of walking. I need to work a little more at getting the extra walking in.
Eating more veggies and fruit: This week wasn’t great for veggies and fruit. I still need to find some good recipes. I’m planning on trying roasted broccoli this week.
Weight loss this week: I gained .5 pounds. Total weight loss for this challenge is 6.5 pounds. Even though I gained a little, I’m feeling great! I can see my body getting leaner, I feel better, and I know I’m making healthy choices. I’m still trying for 15, but I’m totally content with the groove I’m in right now.
