#15×15 Check-in: Well, This is Embarrassing

I’m just going to say it right away and get it over with.

I gained 4 pounds this week. (running to hide in a corner)

I gained 4 pounds this week!

I guess that’s what happens when you stop working toward a goal. I didn’t exercise much because I wasn’t home much and because of some foot pain I was experiencing. I didn’t eat well because I wasn’t home or preparing my own meals.

Honestly, those are just excuses. I know I could have at least got more walking in and I could have skipped the s’mores, pie, soda… We’ll just stop there.

Instead of dwelling in my sorrows, let’s just move on to how I will remedy this in the coming week.

My #15×15 Goals

Drink 80 oz water per day: I really think I did pretty good on water drinking last week, but I also had a lot of high calorie drinks too. I’m going to work hard at getting to this goal this week and track it each day.

Exercise: This was way down this week because of my pain in my foot. I found out that I am not wearing proper shoes for running and it’s causing my foot pain. Time to save up for new shoes! I wasn’t home much this week so my exercise consisted of one 25 min run and little walks here and there. Since I can’t run, I’m planning on getting more walking this week and Jillian workouts. My goal is 3 hours of walking and 5 Jillian workouts.

Eating: I’ve got some of my meals planned already this week and have some new salads to try. I’m looking forward to being home this week for meals and having less temptations around.

Weight Loss this week:  Zero pounds with a total of 5 pounds gone for the challenge and 10 more to go. (Uffda!) Keep moving forward!

How did you do this week?
