Today was a great day. It started out with this A-mazing Artisan Monkey Bread. Which the kids and I devoured while Jonathan was at book club. 

Then we cleaned. I know it doesn’t sound like much fun, but I am very happy to say my room is the cleanest it has been since we moved in. I took a full trash bag to throw out and another full bag was brought to Savers.

After lunch, the kids and I ran some errands. I didn’t want to miss the BOGO Roast Beef at Cub Foods and we had a few books for school to pick up at the library.

When we got back the kids rode bike behind dad while he ran and I opted to stay out of the heat and keep cleaning. Bathrooms. Check.

We had some Pork Fried Rice for dinner and then the girls made Snickerdoodles. We had a little dessert and played Ticket to Ride. It was Lydia’s first time playing and she won. She is awesome at games.

Now the kids are laying on their clean sheets in bed after their second shower of the day.

I think I’ll grab a book and do the same.
